About[]
Nemysis had an ideal beginning, born to a wealthy dentist, Arthur, and his wife, Karen. She and her parents lived the American Dream, in a beautiful suburban home, complete with a white picket fence and a golden retriever. It wasn't until her mutant abilities manifested during a temper tantrum, at the age of four, that the facade of a wholesome family fell.
Nemysis' mother had been born a telepath, and kept her abilities hidden after a brutal beating from husband. The fact that his daughter was another 'freak' sent Arthur Williams over the edge, bringing him close to killing his own child. Since that day, Nemysis had been wary of normal people, and attempted to live a 'normal' life.
After high school, Nemysis attended Boston University, where she majored in Classical Studies, then found her way to Charles Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters to learn more about her abilities. It was there that she met a silver-tongued Brotherhood member, Peter Kovalevsky.
Their brief, passionate romance led to an unplanned pregnancy, which threatened Nemysis' very life. Due to Peter's own mutation, the child she was carrying had begun to leech Nemysis' life force from her. In one last loving gesture to Nemysis, Peter killed their child, saving his former lover's life, much to her displeasure.
Nemysis now resides at the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Mutations and Abilities[]
Nemysis has strong telekinetic abilities, and is able to lift several tons of weight with a thought. She has developed a sort of telekinetic shield that she can use to cover herself or a small group of people. There are still some flaws in the shield, and it can only protect individuals from physical attacks.
Her telepathic abilities are solid, but don't compare to those of Professor Xavier and Emma Frost.
Personality[]
Sarcastic, bitter, quiet, and calculating. However, once she trusts a person, she is fiercely loyal and obedient. Her sexuality is strong and fluid, and has been known to favor both sexes. She is whip smart and will not hesitate to remind someone of that fact.
Sex, Romance, and Relationships[]
Nemysis is unattached at the moment, and still healing her emotional wounds from the loss of her child.
Family[]
Nemysis' only other family, that she knows of, are her parents, who still live in her childhood home, in Boston.
