Lailah is a witch and healer, currently taking care of Ghost Rider's lover Roxanne from the sidelines and fighting for neutral mutant's right to not participate in Magneto's War.
She is known in Jewish folklore as the 'angel' of midwives and conception.
History[]
Lailah was a young witch from the 17th century killed during a witch-hunt in a small town in Wales. She was the town’s healer and midwife, accused of witchcraft for her beauty and her uncanny ability to always save both mother and child.
Azazel, who was living as a human priest at the time, recognised the true powers within her and used his nefarious arcane skills to resurrect her from the dead. He capture her soul in a crystal locket, which he keeps safe in his mansion. As long as it isn’t released from the locket, Lailah will live. She is at the same time, his lover and closest companion, his most trusted general in his war against the humani.
Mutations and Abilities[]
Lailah has the ability to commune with nature and spirits, as well as channel mystic energy and cast spells. She's moderately a moderately powerful witch but an incredibly powerful healer. She uses water and plant based magic mostly, and has a close connection to the demon Lord Azazel. He is the only highly intelligent creature she can converse with mentally.
